DAY 1 (10th May 2006)Weather--Sunny(32 degree celsius):

Woke up at 4:40am, and left hse at abt 5:20am...my dad drove me and LL to the airport, and reach Changi airport at ard 5:55am. We waited for the XT and YY to joined us before gg to collect our tickets to checked-in our luggages. After that, when to eat at the staff canteen before boarding our plane.

The plane took off at 8:05am. But during the journey to HK, we encountered quite a few turbulence...my coffee shaking like mad...

Reached HK at abt 11+am...saw mediacorp artist zheng xiuzhen when we r quequing to get our passport stamped, after collecting our baggages, we met our HK tourguide...the moment she speaks...we were thinking...siao liao...cos she speaks cantonese!!and we can only understand a bit bit...the SA ppl still told us that the tourguide can speak English one...yah...only a bit...the whole trip she spoke in cantonese..just that some impt things like the time to meet and stuffs then she repeat in English.

After we bought the coach, the 1st stop is the Golden Bauhina Square near the HK Convention and Exhibition Centre...
This Golden flower was given to HK by the Chinese govt in 1997 when HK returned to China.

After that the tourguide brought us to buy jewelleries...haiz...so boring...the four of us too bored le..so left early and waited at the coach for others...

Its almost evening time le...the tourguide brought us to the Victoria peak...the driver's driving skill is really superb!!haha..he really sped up the hill lo...very exciting...The view from the peak is magnificant...it must look more beautiful at night ba...but too bad...our time at the peak is very short...we only got 15mins on the peak...the tourguide ah...dunno how she plan the time one...trapped us at the jewellery shop for so long...and only gave us 15 mins on the peak...

After coming down from the peak...the tourguide still bring us to buy herbs...haiz...think she will earn commissions from these shops lo...the four of us just slacked in the coach...we didn't went down to shop herbs with the rest...
In the bus, we planned where to go at night on our own...hehe...

Finally its dinner time...but the dinner doesn't really suit my taste...so just eat a bit...

After dinner, we checked in to Dorsett Seaview Hotel( but no seaview)...the hotel is really very small...it has the smallest lobby I've ever seen...but the location of the hotel is quite ok...cos we are next to Temple street...so can shop shop...haha...
I shared a room with LL...the room is quite small...i think is smaller than the genting 1st world hotel's room
